ALEXANDRA GOLDMAN
Everyone needs something to connect to; for me, it's Good Grief Central.
Even after graduating from Social Services and Human Relations, no experience could prepare me for the loss of a loved one. I lost my father due to life-long health issues when I was 14 years old, and it was a very difficult loss. I found ways to cope that worked for me, but it took time. Fast forward to twelve years later, and I lost both of my grandmothers in the same summer. Over time, I learned that patience and opportunity are a huge part of coping. It was imperative for me to understand that you cannot rush the healing process, and that there are always opportunities and resources available. With my experiences - both personally and with Good Grief Central - I felt inspired to be a part of this amazing story. I have joined this team to help others understand that they're not alone and that there is a light at the end of each tunnel.
